1 Levi’s Orange Tab

First introduced in the 1960’s the Orange Tab was used to differentiate a range of garments from the famous 501 jeans.

The range included boot cut and bell-bottom jeans, sometimes with a more elaborate arcuate pocket stitching. Orange Tab products have diversified to ski suits and other active wear and a variety of accessories.

Original Levi’s Orange Tab jeans are considered vintage and collectable.

2 Levi’s Silver Tab

Levi’s Silver Tab jeans were popular in the late 80’s and into the 90’s.

Designed as baggy and loose fitting they were aimed at the skate boarding, grunge and hip-hop demographic.

3 Blue Tab

Introduced in the Spring of 2025, the premium line of Levi’s Blue Tab is a modern take on classic Levi’s 80’ style. The collection uses raw Japanese selvedge denim giving the Blue Tab range a more qualitative feel.

4 Black Tab

In the 1960’s Levi’s produced a treated or anti-wrinkle line of clothing called ”Sta-Prest”. This collection used a Black Tab with gold LEVIS lettering. The Black Tab is used today on black denim but only for aesthetic reasons.

5 Wite Tab

Initially introduced in the early 1960’s for a new line called ”White Levi’s”, White Tab clothing was aimed at younger customers. Later the White Tab was used for corduroy trousers and jackets and for ”Levi’s for Gals” which launched in the 70’s.

6 Fresh Produce Tab

The ”Fresh Produce” Tab was a collection by Levi’s inspired by fruits and vegetables. A small carrot was featured on the tab and the range was popular in Canada when the brand first started in the 70’s.

In 2022 the concept was revisited and branded as ”Levi’s Fresh”, a collection using naturally sourced dyes.

In the Autumn of 2020 Levi’s collaborated with The LEGO Group.

Released on October 1 2020 the partnership consisted of a limited edition collection of clothing featuring LEGO base plate pieces.

The Levi’s X Princess Mononoke collection was released on August 10, 2023. Princess Mononoke is a Japanese animation produced by Studio Ghibli, it is an historical fantasy film chronicling a conflict between the gods of a forest and the humans that consume its resources.

The collection, very popular with fans of the animation was generally successful and was praised for its detailed designs that captured the movie’s themes, especially its environmentalism.

9 Levi’s X Clot

In 2006 Levi’s teamed up with CLOT the Hong Kong clothing brand founded in 2003 by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon to produce the iconic UNIONRAIL 501 Jeans. In 2022 the two brands collaborated again with the ”Year of the Tiger” collection. In 2023 they met again to work on a CLOT 20th Anniversary project.

10 Levi’s RED Collection

Levi’s Red Collection was first launched in 1999. It was designed to take classic elements of Levi’s jeans and re-imagine them to give a more modern day interpretation. The range included the ”Twisted RED” an ergonomic, loose fitting jean with twisted side seams limited to only 9000 total pairs.

In 2021 Levi’s RED was re-imagined and re-launched featuring (amongst others) a looser fit of the 502 and a 505 utility bottom. All of the new range is available in sustainable and organic cotton.

To coincide with ”Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” release in 2019 Levi’s released a range of clothing with image designs and quotes from the Star Wars franchise.

English football club Liverpool FC joined forces with Levi’s in 2018 to produce a range of apparel. The collection included T-shirts, jackets and jeans which incorporated the club’s famous branding and was based on the ”Levi’s Music Project” established in Liverpool in 2016.

The Super Mario game was the choice theme when Nintendo collaborated with Levi’s in 2020. The collection featured characters like Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Bowser all in bright saturated colours on jeans, hoodies and T-shirts

14 Levi’s ”Yellow” Collection

Not much information about the Levi’s Yellow range. Whether it was limited to just the 523 model or other models. The jeans had a yellow back patch, yellow accent stitching and yellow spots printed on the last part of the inside leg to be used as a turn up.

In 2015 Menno van Meurs, founder of Tenue de Nîmes visited the Levi's archive in San Francisco in order to find a pair of jeans to reproduce as a collaboration project. Whilst exploring the vintage stores of the Mission neighbourhood in the Bay Area he discovered a well used pair of 1970's 501's. These jeans were recreated in the first LVC (Levi's Vintage Clothing) collaboration.

The subsequent limited edition was released on May 24th 2019 with only 75 hand numbered pieces.

16 Levi’s X LUKER BY NEIGHBORHOOD

Shinsuke Takizawa, the founder of NEIGHBORHOOD (NBHD) is also the designer behind the sub-brand LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD. It was created to explore British subculture influences, specifically music. In the autumn of 2009 LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD released a collaboration collection with Levi’s.

17 Levi’s X Coca Cola

Offered exclusively as a prize in a 2001/02 Coca-Cola lottery campaign, the 20,000 limited edition Levi's jeans were aimed at younger demographic tying into the trendy appeal of Levi's new Engineered Jeans Line.

18 Levi’s X Andy Warhol

Known as Warhol Factory x Levi’s, the partnership aimed to blend iconic Levi’s denim with some of Andy Warhol’s artwork. The collection included jeans and tops with Warhol’s designs on the tags, buttons and the inside of the jeans.

In 2008 a subsequent collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation and Damien Hirst included a limited edition of Swarovski crystal encrusted jeans selling for only $4000 a pair.(!)

19 Levi’s X Andy Warhol Foundation X Damien Hirst

A collection in conjunction with The Andy Warhol Foundation, released 2008 which debuted during New York Fashion week in 2007. It featured Damien Hirst’s distinctive art style including his

”Spin Painting” which was printed onto Levi’s 501’s. The collection exhibited at the Gagosian Gallery and featured denim pieces with vibrant, multi-coloured splatter patterns and Hirst’s iconic skull artwork.

A collaboration of multiple releases, the first capsule collection dropped in the February of 2023 followed by the second in the autumn of ’23. The most recent collection was released in April 2024 and consisted of a four piece range; a leather jacket, a trucker jacket, matching jeans and a leather belt. Stüssy applied their signature aesthetic to the classic Levi's garments, each piece refined through custom fit, design and finishes.

To celebrate Pokémon’s 25th anniversary Levi’s partnered with the Japanese video game. The clothing range comprised of denim and tops inspired by the first season of the animated series and included characters like Pikachu and elements from the Kanto region. It was released in February of 2021.

22 Levi’s X Tom Sachs

Although there are pairs of LVC 1947 501XX jeans floating around the internet on Ebay etc, there's no official info about a collaboration with the artist Tom Sachs

23 Levi’s X Mr Porter

Mr Porter the menswear site was launched in 2009 (Then called The Outnet) focusing on previous seasons’ designs at discount prices. In 2011 Toby Bateman established Mr Porter as a premium clothing online store. In 2015 Mr Porter worked with Levi’s to produce a 3 piece capsule collection of ”Collector’s Edition 501 Cone Selvedge Jeans”. Limited to only 100 pairs the 501 CT jeans were hand made in San Francisco, taking 72 hours per pair and only available through Mr Porter.

To celebrate Grateful Dead’s album ”Skull and Roses” 50th anniversary, on July 27 2021 Levi’s produced a collection featuring the band’s iconic motifs like dancing bears, skulls and tie-dye.

25 Levi’s X Snoop Dogg

A Snoop Dogg collection was planned for International Cannabis Day on April 20 2021 but for unknown reasons the project was cancelled at the last minute with Levi’s pulling products from the shelves and cancelling orders.

The ”Fresh Leaves” Levi’s x Justin Timberlake collaboration was released in 3 parts: October of 2018, April of 2019 and concluded in October of ’19. The first part of the collection featured 501 jeans and trucker jackets focusing on the musician’s ”Man of the Woods” aesthetic. The second and third parts took inspiration from Memphis, Timberlake’s hometown, and the musical legacy of the city.

27 Levi’s X Denim Tears

Denim Tears has had three ”seasons” of collaborations with Levi’s. The first, in 2020 featured white cotton wreaths printed on vintage denim telling the story of cotton and slavery. The second, released in 2022, focused on the history of the Gullah Geechee people and their connection to indigo production and slavery.

The third season which arrived in the September of 2023 paid homage to the Black biker culture.

Levi’s and Denim Tears returned for a fourth season in March of 2025 to continue to honour the history and heritage on the Black American Experience.

The Levi’s x Nike collection dropped in July 2025. With baggy jeans, a trucker jacket and three versions of the iconic Air Max 95 sneakers in the range.

The highly anticipated collaboration was very successful with nearly everything selling out on the July 10 release date.

Previously Levi’s produced a Nike Air Jordan 4 collaborative sneaker in January of 2018, the product which was released to only select Nike retailers came in three colours, white, dark and light denim. It was equally as popular.

29 Denim Cowboy - Levi’s X Beyonce

The main Beyoncé ”Denim Cowboy” collection was released on August 7 2025 it consisted of jeans and trucker jackets, while the

”Tees” (T-shirt) range came earlier in the year on My 12th.

As part of their Autumn 2023 collection, Levi’s collaborated with luxury French fashion house, Kenzo. It was the first time the two brands worked together with Kenzo being under the creative direction of Nigo. Blending Japanese and American fashion tradition the collection was a denim-focused capsule.

31 Levi’s X Feng Chen Wang

Feng Chen Wang is a Chinese born, London based menswear designer who in 2018 collaborated with Levi’s to produce a 501 based range. In 2019 the two re-connected to produce a second range, as with the first the new release uses deconstruction as a key theme.

There have been two Levi’s/McLaren collections. The first was released in July of 2023, it included vintage inspired pieces, Constructors Tees and a racing bandana. The second part of the range dropped in the Autumn of the following year, it featured re-imagined Levi’s staples and a racing track trucker jacket.

The Adish brand was founded in 2018 by Israeli born Amit Luzon and Eyal Eliyahu and the Palestinian artist Qussay K. Their aim was to support Palestinian cultural heritage and traditional crafts.

In 2022 a collaboration with Adish and Levi’s was launched and focussed on up-cycling Levi’s deadstock including the 501 and Chore coat. The designs incorporated traditional Palestinian

Tatreez” and hand weaving techniques by female artists.

34 Levi’s Feather Tab

During the mid to late 1970’s the ”Feather Tab” was introduced to Levi’s Orange Tab range. It was used primarily on flared or bell bottomed styles with a lighter weight denim. The Feather Tab was only in production for a short time signifying an experimental and fashion trend line from Levi’s

In 2020 a limited edition capsule collection was created by Levi’s and Lenny McGurr, the New York artist known as ”Futura”.

McGurr started out as a graffiti artist in the 1970’s crossing over to the art boom of the 1980’s.

The collaboration featured classic Levi’s items, 501 jeans and the Trucker Jacket decorated with Futura’s iconic artwork and signature ”Pointman” figure celebrating Chinese New Year.

The lifestyle and workwear brand ”Human Made” is a Japanese, Tokyo based company which was founded in 2010 by designer NIGO. The brand’s motto isthe future is in the past”.

Human Made, NIGO and Levi’s have had three collaborations to date:

The first in July of 2021, saw the Levi’s 1915 iteration of 501 and Type II Trucker Jacket (507XX) reproduced using traditional Japanese selvedge denim.

In April 2022 the 1944 501 jean and a 506 Trucker Jacket were reproduced, again using Japanese selvedge and also special details such as, painted arcuate stitching and custom Human Made shank buttons.

The last collaboration which coincided with Levi’s 501 150th anniversary was released in the April of 2023 and focused on a Hickory Stripe 501 jean and a 557XX Hickory Stripe Trucker Jacket.

The Levi’s X Universal Monsters collection was released the Autumn of 2022. It featured original Universal Monster movie posters printed onto various Levi’s clothing and accessories. The collection was available from only select Levi’s stores and online.

To celebrate Undercover’s 35th anniversary in 2025, Levi’s collaborated with the Jun Takahashi owned Japanese high fashion brand.

The collection featured designs inspired by both brands heritage, zigzag patterns, eye prints and elements from Undercover’s 1998

”Exchange” range.

It was the second collection by the two brands, the first coming in 2022.

39 Levi’s X Comme des Garçons (Junya Watanabe)

There have been multiple collaborations with Comme des Garçons and Junya Watanabe over the years, most notably in 2002, 12 and 2016. The latest partnership in August of 2025 saw Levi’s coming together with Junya Watanabe, Filson and Rebuild by Needles. In this collection a pair of Levi’s carpenter jeans were reimagined using suede material panels under the back pockets, with a high, fitted velvet waistband on a wide leg straight leg. Here

40 Levi’s X Vetements

The Swiss luxury ”avant-garde” streetwear brand Vetements released its first capsule collection with Levi’s in the Spring of 2017. It was showcased at the Paris haute couture fashion week focusing on deconstructed denim staples. The collaboration continued in the Autumn of the following year and the Spring 2019 where amongst other items a hybrid ”jeans/jersey panel” were presented.

41 Levi’s Fenom

The now discontinued Levi’s ”Fenom” refers to a series of collaborations by Levi’s including Japanese streetwear icon Hiroshi Fujiwara and his design, marketing and consultancy firm

”Fragment Design”.

The Levi’s X Fenom partnership continued over a number of years with designs featuring custom graphics such as, stars and thunderbolts on selvedge denim with unique interior fabrics. The styles also incorporated elements from artists like Takashi Murakami. Projects such as ”mastermind JAPAN Denim Disco Crush” in 2008 and a ”uniform experiment U.E. NAVY DISCO Decoration Denim” in 2009. In 2011 the partnership also featured a ”Nitro Microphone Underground 207 Metal Disco Decoration Denim.

In 2020 Levi's and Ganni introduced the "Love Letter" capsule collection. It was a rent only range that focused on upcycled vintage denim. The following year and the second collaboration saw classic Levi's silhouettes with Ganni prints made from sustainable hemp and organic cotton. The 2022 and latest collection was inspired by Mother Nature and "our newfound love for gardening" featuring natural-dyed hues and fresh silhouettes.

In August of 2021 Levi’s announced it’s first collaboration with the then top ranked female tennis player Naomi Osaka.

The four piece limited edition collection was designed using up-cycled vintage denim and only available in select stores and online.

The second collection came in the July of the following year and also used up-cycled denim. Based on Osaka’s sketches, the designs focused on unconventional proportions and contrasting denim washes.

Debuting at Reese Cooper’s Spring/Summer 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week, the 10 piece capsule collection was available to buy straighter after the runway show as part of Levi’s ”See Now, Buy Now” initiative. The ”Seed and Soil” themed designs were stated to ”Blend high fashion and heritage, runway style and workwear utility” drawing from Reese’s interest in vintage American and the outdoors.

Created by Charles M. Schulz, the Peanuts comic strip ran from 1950 to 2000. After its initial collaboration with Levi’s in 2017, one of the carton strip’s main character Snoopy featured in a collection to celebrate the ”Year of the Dog” in 2018. Two more collections have followed since, in 2019 and again in 2020. They featured classic Levi’s denim apparel with the cartoon strip prints.

As part of Levi’s Spring/Summer collection in 2022 a Simpsons collaboration was released. It featured streetwear inspired designs with elements of the TV Show in prints on the pieces.

As part of Black History Month in 2020, Levi‘s teamed up with artist Gianni Lee. The limited collection consisted of three graphic T-shirts and a pair of Levi’s Future Finish Jeans featuring Gianni’s powerful artwork.

48 Levis X Facetasm

Hiromichi Ochiai, the founder of Facetasm, designed the collection of unisex denim pieces in the 2020 Levi’s X Facetasm ”Mutation” collaboration. The Japanese luxury streetwear brand is known for its mixture of traditional Japanese tailoring and deconstructed, layered silhouettes and has collaborated with other retail giants such as Disney and Nike.

A Bathing Ape AKA BAPE is a Japanese fashion brand founded in 1993 by Tomoaki Nagao (Nigo). In December of 2019 the first Levi’s X BAPE collaboration collection was released in Dubai and focussed on reimagining the classic Levi's Type III Trucker Jacket. Designed to be split the jacket could be zipped together with other jackets from the collection.

A following Miami exclusive release dropped in the January of 2020 and featured a co-branded T-shirt and the "mix-and-match" trucker jackets.

The January 2021 range was a more significant global event with the Split Trucker Jacket available in five different colourways and different versions released for different regions. It also included 501 '93 jeans, T-shirts and Western shirts.

Alongside the apparel MEDICOM TOY launched a BE@RBRICK figure that featured the collection's graphics.

In October 2025 another global release was announced and released continuing the mix-and-match jackets and other items.

The first Levi’s X END collaboration was titled the ”Painted Collab Capsule Collection” and released in April of 2021. It consisted of 7 pieces including jeans, jackets, T-shirts and a hoodie. The jeans featured were Levi’s 505 made with selvedge denim.

In 2024 the brands partnered again, this time to produce the

”Rambler” collection inspired by mountainous landscapes and the ramblers that have walked them. Comprised of six pieces, the range features outerwear, jeans and accessories.

Levi’s collaborated with the 1920's silent movie star Felix the Cat in September of 2021. The collection was ”collegiate-inspired” with a ”Felix the Graduate” theme.

52 Levi’s X Miu Miu

The Levi’s X Miu Miu collaboration reimagined vintage Levi’s denim pieces chosen from the brands archive and featured Miu Miu’s signature fabric detailing, crystals and embroidery. The collection launched in 2021 as part of Miu Miu’s up-cycle initiative celebrating sustainability by giving life to vintage garments. Each piece was a unique hand-embellished item transforming classic Levi’s 501 models into one-of-a-kind luxurious designs.

The first collaboration between Levi’s and BE@RBRICK was released in 2010 with a limited edition number of denim clad Bearbricks. They were created to coincide with the opening of the Levi’s concept store in Taiwan.

On March 21, 2025 Levi’s joined forces with the Japanese designer toy company once again to produce figures adorned with designs inspired by 1940’s banner prints from the Levi’s archives. Combining denim culture and collectable art, the range includes a trio of figures in different sizes.

Levi’s and 3. PARADIS collaborated in November of 2022. This capsule collection included 501 jeans, Trucker Jackets and Jackson Shirts all of which were reinterpreted with 3.PARADIS flying dove signature motif. 

September 12, 2011 saw the first ever collaboration between Levi’s and a ”streetwear” company. Since then the two companies have released collections on numerous occasions

”Levi's is an American institution and is known worldwide as the benchmark of quality Denim products. For the Fall season Supreme has joined forces with Levi's for the first time to produce a small capsule collection.
This collection includes a Supreme Edition of the classic Levi's 505 Zip-Fly Jean, a Chambray Work Shirt, a Trucker Jacket in Leather and Suede, a Denim Down Vest, and a Denim Bell Hat. All products are Made In The U.S.A.”

For the 2011/12 collection several Supreme signature styles such as leopard print were used with Levi’s 505 jeans with a matching Trucker Jacket. The range also included polka dot Western wear shirts.

The Levi’s X Oasis collaboration was released in two phases, the first in August of 2024 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album. The second part of the collection in July of 2025 was to celebrate the reunion tour. A range of vintage design T-shirts and three denim tops including a Type II Trucker Jacket made up the collection.

Off-White is an Italian luxury fashion brand founded in 2013 by Virgil Abloh. In 2016 the company collaborated with Levi’s, a collection that debuted on the Paris runway in the March of that year.

The initial partnership was with Levis Made & Crafted, it featured an 11 piece collection including jeans and denim jackets reinterpreted by Abloh with signature Off-White detailing such as exposed seams, over sized zippers and colour blocking. The partnership led to a larger collaboration the following year for the Autumn/Winter collection.

The Levi’s X Jaden Smith limited edition collection included 501 jeans and Type III Trucker Jackets and featured Smith’s love of DIY customisation including screen printing and peace signs. It was sold exclusively through the Levi’s app when it was released on December 13, 2021.

After previous collaborations in 2019 and ’21 Levi’s and BEAMS released the ”Super Wide V2” collection in 2024.

The range, inspired by the 1944 Levi’s ”Super Wide” jeans featured custom orange tick selvedge denim, an exclusive BEAMS tab and a custom super wide leather backpatch.

Japanese luxury streetwear brand BEAMS partnered with Levi’s in 2022 to produce a four piece gender neutral denim capsule. It comprised of two Trucker Jackets and two pairs of Jeans. A subsequent collaboration followed the following year this time with a more moto-inspired collection including Levi’s 517 boot cut jeans and a Trucker Jacket.

New Balance has collaborated various since the initial partnership in 2020. The two company‘s have worked together to rework some New Balance’s most celebrated shoes, such as the 990v3, the 1300 and most recently the MT580, New Balance’s icon from the early 2000’s in 2023.

JJJJound was founded in 2006 by Justin Saunders and is based in Montreal. In 2023 Levi’s and JJJJound undertook its first collaboration. It focussed on light washed denim pieces inspired by the 2023 Spring season.

A second collection followed in 2024, this time a ten piece range using dark washed denim clothing and accessories with attention to precise fitting, detailing, subtle branding and JJJJound’s minimalist design. The collection comprised of a canvas tote bag, a utility shirt an outerwear piece and the classic 501 jeans.

Kiko Kostadinov, the London based Bulgarian designer collaborated with Levi’s in 2024, with a collection unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in the January of that year. In September of 2025 the two released their second capsule. The five-piece women’s collection that was designed by twins Laura and Deanna Fanning under the Kiko Kostadinov studio. The collection focuses on reimagined classic denim silhouettes by looking into the future and the past.

Levi’s collaboration with influencer/model/business woman Emma Chamberlain was released over three dates. The first in 2022 was inspired by Baggy ”Dad” jeans, they were a special release and coincided with ”501 day” on May 20th.

Inspired by her Californian childhood, the second release came in August 2023 and featured a patchwork design 501 jean.

In November 2023 the ”Its Giving Season” and third part of the collaboration was launched, it included a curated gift guide and other fashion items.

Every year on May 20th Levi’s celebrates their most famous jeans model, the 501.

In 1873 LS&Co. received a patent for its riveted pants. After designating these with the 501 number they went on to be the world’s most recognisable jeans.

On the 150th anniversary of the 501 in 2023, Levi’s released an extensive collection of jeans to celebrate the milestone. The range included ”Levi’s Strauss & Co. 150 Years of 501” selvedge 501 jeans with a ”150” red tab (top image). A Levi’s ”banner print” pair of 501’s with a 1930’s Levi’s advertising banner printed on the denim (middle image). A patchwork pair, a distressed pair and so on.

One interesting release for the 150th anniversary was a limited collection of 501’s with the waist patch printed in six different languages: Japanese, Hindi, Spanish, French, Korean, and Simplified Chinese (bottom image).

Not all of the 501 anniversaries have been celebrated with a special edition collection. 2017 marked the 144th anniversary and was the first

”real” observance of a celebration and a limited edition range.
